Makeup choices for the women of color are somewhat limiting, despite their gorgeous skin tones, they may be unable to live up to their beauties without some tips and products to help them with their makeup journey.
1.Avoid light makeup: For black women, light makeup may turn out looking too off. Test foundation colors for a match but if it becomes difficult or impossible for you to get your exact match, there is no crime in mixing two colors to get the right shade for you. A darker shade and a lighter shade of your skin tone will work well when combined. For bronzer or blush, copper and brown are excellent for the black skin. 2. Black Women’s Lips: Use a lip liner that will complement your lip gloss. And for the skin tone, select shades of pink, neutral, earth tones works well. Applying lip gloss on the lips will give a more natural look.
3. Eye makeup: The dark skin tone brings out the beauty in metallic eye shadows and shimmery ones. The darker the skin tone, the brighter colors you need. Black mascara will enable the lashes to stand out while your eyelashes will add the extra jazz.
4. Look for a brand that makes products with black skin in consideration: You can get a match for your dark skin tones with some makeup brand that make varieties of shades. MAC is known for variety, and you will hardly get stranded with this brand as a woman of color.
5. Do not feel outlawed from using blush: Generally speaking, it is true that black women do not blush, but black women can also warm their faces up with application of some berry colored blush.
6. Colored eyeliner: Black women can play around using colored eyeliner and see how beautiful it turns out. Even if you feel that colored eye shadows are a no-no for you, colored eye liners can add the extra pickles for you.
